There is a wide open entrance to the inner structure, and a large, low stone, that is almost certainly part of the rock itself, protrudes from the ground into the room. The rock shows no obvious signs of carving but it is now almost covered by a large cactus, making it impossible to see if the surface is carved. This structure, because of its elaborate details, is clearly the most important on the site. In the interior of the structure there are seven niches and some of these have barholes carved through their front corner edges. On the north side of the front wall there are two niches pierced by small windows, which overlook the patio extension. Beneath these, on the patio side, there are some very small niches stepped in the wall. These niche like holes could have received small objects, or even may have been used as footholds. The peep-hole windows may have been used for communication, between persons inside and outside. At its southern side, the structure is joined to another structure in Group 3. The latter has direct access to the rock structure, through a large window in its second-story. Group 3 was entered through Group 4, along the terrace front, up a small stairway with a structure built at its side. Two structures of the closed type face a small plaza containing a large stone carved with six large irregular hollows. Both structures are two-storied and have sloping gables with stone pegs inserted at the outside for fastening the roof. Both structures also have interior pegs, set into the walls between and above the niches, but below the recess point for the upper story. The structure adjoining the rock has two door ways and utilizes the rock-face as one of its side walls, while the other is free-standing and has only one doorway. The former structure has two small niches, one at each corner, on the outside of the back wall. Group 4 consists of two structures located at the front of the rock, between the entrance and Group 3. The first structure has been partly destroyed. It was entered through a single doorway and was probably very similar to those structures in the Upper Terraces at Patallacta. The second structure is quite unique and consists merely of an arrangement of three masonry posts, in whose recesses and projections some beams and roof members would have rested. The back wall was formed by the inclined rock-face. The stairway structure, located between Groups 3 and 4, may have been of two-stories, or it may have had a very small attic story under a sloping roof, supported on stepped side walls. The structure is built on a sloping site and was entered from the stairway, through a doorway in the lower part of its side wall. There may have been large window entrances from the higher back level, now fallen. The structure appears to be more closely associated with Group 3.
